Description

The Controller will be responsible for general ledger integrity, preparation of financial statements, analysis of business results, cost accounting, and management of the CAS Holdings accounting departments. The job responsibilities may be changed or expanded at will and are expected to expand in conjunction with experience and the Company’s needs. 

o    Develop documented financial controls across the entire business including implementation and audit procedures to ensure compliance

o    Work with the CFO and staff to improve monthly & annual closing processes with the goal of improving efficiency, maintaining an effective internal control structure and compliance with GAAP

o    Responsible for the accuracy and effectiveness of accounting processes including credit & collections, accounts payable, cash application and billing

o    Overall responsibility for the general ledger

o    Prepare and review monthly financial reports to management, equity owners and creditors

o    Perform timely analytical procedures over the financial reports, prepare variance analysis, and follow up on significant fluctuations

o    Work with CFO and department managers to prepare annual budgets and periodic reforecasts

o    Manage cash movements and funding needs

o    Manage the relationship with the external audit manager and the annual audit process, resulting in a clean opinion of the annual audited financial statements

o    Assist and supply information to external tax compliance specialists with preparation of Federal and State tax returns, file periodic tax filings

o    Take part in special projects requested by Senior Management including special reports and process improvements

o    Management and development of staff

Responsibilities

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in in Accounting or Finance, and a CPA, CMA, or MBA are desirable, with 5+ years of related experience (preferably mix of private and public accounting with a preference to public accounting). 

•    Experience in a manufacturing business is required, distribution business preferred, and knowledge of private equity industry is a plus

•    Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across organizational and functional boundaries, effective communication with supervisor and subordinates

•    Excellent computer skills, including proficient use of MS Office and an integrated accounting software package, NetSuite experience a big plus

•    Must have strong analytical skills and an attention to detail

•    Must demonstrate leadership skills, have a passion for continuous improvement and have a demonstrated ability to handle multiple deadlines and priorities in a changing environment

The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for posting month end journal entries, preparing monthly financial reports, developing and maintaining department budgets and forecasts, account reconciliations and account analysis. The successful candidate will also collect pertinent information for third party audits, reviewing payroll and will be the first point of contact for accounting related issues. 

  • Lead the month end close process 
  • Processing of accounting transactions with accuracy across multiple costs centers 
  • Provide detailed analysis and explanations of all transactions 
  • Coordinate documentation for external auditors 
  • Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue 
  • Maintain and update process and procedure documents for the department 
  • Demonstrated ability to support other departments within the company and coordinate training and information sessions as needed 
  • Prepare the monthly financial reporting package 
  • Assist with other projects as needed 

Responsibilities

Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of accounting experience, and a desire to develop accounting skills and for growth opportunity in the department. 

  • Must be able to prioritize deadlines and shift priorities in a changing environment.

  • Identify opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area to meet or exceed annual sales goals and grow market share.

  • Continuously support the development of strong relationship with key customers. Build and maintain strong relationship with key decision makers. 

Responsibilities

Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or an equivalent discipline with 5+ years’ experience in a technical sales role. Experience selling and supporting industrial automation projects. Experience managing high-value strategic customers. Proven track record of successful business development and strong relationship building skills. Proficiency with MS Office, creating technical sales presentations, proposals, and quotations. NetSuite experience is a plus.

  • Drive sales revenues by directly managing the entire sales process at target customers, from lead generation to support of final contract negotiations. Strive to obtain required supplier clearances at major accounts by developing relationships with appropriate decision-makers on multiple levels.
  • Handle informational requests from interested potential customers, collect required support documentation (drawings, samples, specs etc.) and develop quotes and proposals in response to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Manage and communicate with an established network of external sales channels to complement internal sales activities.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry trade shows, seminars and networking events.

Responsibilities

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or completion of a formalized technical vocational training complemented by additional business courses and 3+ years’ experience in technical sales, specifically with HFFS, VFFS, automation machinery, robotic and industrial packaging equipment. 

  • Must be a sales hunter, reliable and exhibit a high level of determination and tenacity.
  • Strong strategic acumen with proven success in developing and executing business development/market penetration plans
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with all levels from factory operators to C-level managers.

• Drill or tap holes to mount control units or to provide openings for components, wiring, or instruments.

• Complete point-to-point wiring, and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, switches, etc.

• Red-line documentation as necessary to initiate ECOs through Engineering.

• Perform operations such as deburring, grinding & sawing. Operate hand pallet jacks to move material within plant.

• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Requires a minimum of a High School Education, or Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired and 3+ years’ experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics, electrical diagrams and an understanding of electrical currents.  Experience in mechanical installation and electrical wiring for control panels and desks.  Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panel is a must.  Highly motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently and in a team environment.
