Description

The Electronics Technician is responsible for the assembly of Electrical Control Panels per customer orders. 

  • Majority of time will be spent wiring panels therefore it is imperative that candidate be proficient at wiring.
  • Install and wire devices such as switches, meters, analyzers, transmitters, etc.
  • Maintain necessary U.L. & other quality control files.
  • Layout of components in various size cabinets.
  • Mentor junior members of the team
  • May assume lead role on a customer project.

Responsibilities

Requires a minimum of a High School Education, a Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired ,and 3+ years’ experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics and electrical diagrams. Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panel is a must.  Highly motivated ,detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Description

As a Warehouse Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • The overall shipping/receiving area of the company making sure all goods are received and packages are shipped to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Preparing shipping documents, mailing labels, and making sure that orders have been filled correctly.
  • Recording items taken from inventory and filling the orders
  • Wrapping or packing the goods in shipping containers.
  • Addressing and labeling packages, look up and compute freight or postal rates, and recording the weight and cost of each shipment.
  • Inspecting receipts for accuracy (part number and quantity)
  • Delivering receipts to the warehouse team
  • Dispositioning of packing materials for disposal or reuse.
  • Scheduling trucks
  • Executing Committed Items Report
  • Utilizing computers and hand scanners

Responsibilities

A high school degree or GED and 1+ years’ experience in a similar warehouse role.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Some climbing on ladder

Perform validation and acceptance testing of electrical control panels in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.  Working knowledge of electrical control panels and wiring is required. Troubleshooting and repair of defects is required. Occasional travel to customer locations including overnight stays will occur. 

•    Interface with Panel Designers and System Engineers

•    Visual inspection

•    Validate workmanship of completed panel assemblies

•    Program downloads

•    Document test findings, and write and update test procedures

Responsibilities

•    Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology or equivalent experience

•    2+ years’ experience in electrical testing in a manufacturing environment with a preference in testing electrical control panels

•    Familiarity with UL XXX and IPC A620 preferred

•    Experience using standard tools for testing, including multimeters, etc.

•    Requires a thorough understanding/training in Lock-Out/Tag-Out
