Thank you from Beckwith Middle School STEM Club & Robotics Team

It was great to see you Saturday at the DR-STEAM-posium; what you give back to the community is greatly appreciated. I wanted to thank you for your contribution to our robotics team, for both this year and last.

This year, as you know, most of our funds are going to travel expenses as one of our two teams earned a trip to the Razorback Invitational on the campus of the University of Arkansas. While Team FURocious finished second in the RI FFL Championship Tournament our other team, The Magical Partridges, took fourth; needless to say we are very excited and proud of our teams here at Beckwith Middle School.

The contribution from iAutomation this year will help these kids have an educational trip of a lifetime, learning from and competing with teams from around the world. I don't know this year's breakdown but last year there were 72 teams and 24 were from international competitions.

We only had our success this year thanks to supporters from prior years. The money that iAutomation provided allowed us to purchase a new LEGO Robotic kit, an upgrade to the EV3model, which had more capability than our older NxT's.

Again I cannot thank you enough and I am attaching a few shots of the kids, Day-Glo Orange and Black are last year and the Kelly Green and the Blue shirts at=re from this year.
