Description

You will design of electrical control systems for Automation Machinery applications by supporting the Business Development group which is key to sales growth with successful execution of projects. You will provide support to project management, engineering, materials personnel, and assembly throughout the phases of all projects assigned.

Key Responsibilities in This Position

- Develop complete electrical drawing designs using Solid Works Electrical - schematics, interconnect diagrams, network diagrams, panel layouts and bill of materials.
- Design optimization regarding manufacturability using knowledge of specified product materials and production processes.
- Specify and size all non-engineered materials such as enclosures, circuit protection, control components and associated auxiliary panel components.
- Produce designs with minimal engineering input - i.e. sketches, notes, and vendor drawings.
- Analyze sales orders and customer specifications in order to design equipment consistent with customer requirements.
- Maintain a workflow that ensures timely adherence to all deadlines.
- Customer onsite visits for design reviews, Site Acceptance Tests, and troubleshooting.
- Design to industry standards - i.e. UL 508A, NFPA 79, CE, CSA
- Support assembly during the production phase of the project.
- Responsible for the planned financial performance, delivery, reliability, and customer satisfaction for all projects assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

Associate's degree or technical training certification required

Experience:

- 0-3 years of experience
- Solid Works Electrical preferred
- All Microsoft Office products
